Experiential Marketing
The “Stay & Play” program at Clink Hostels was designed to elevate the guest experience by infusing live music into the hostel’s vibrant bar areas, creating a dynamic and immersive atmosphere. Musicians from across Europe and the United States, representing a diverse range of genres and styles, were invited to perform in exchange for complimentary accommodation. This initiative not only brought a fresh, cultural energy to the hostel but also fostered a sense of community, encouraging guests to linger longer in the social spaces, interact with one another, and ultimately increase their spending.
The program had a direct impact on enhancing the overall guest experience, as it combined entertainment with the unique hostel culture that Clink is known for. By creating an inviting, upbeat environment, the program contributed to an increase in bar sales and event participation. Over the course of the initiative, 14 talented musicians participated, each one carefully selected through a blend of social media outreach, targeted campaigns, and cold emailing. In addition to benefiting guests, the program also provided emerging musicians with an incredible opportunity to showcase their talent to a diverse international audience, fostering a mutually beneficial relationship between the hostel and performers.
